So many of us have strayed from our authentic path, succumbing to societal expectations rather than listening to the yearning of our hearts. Let me guide you on a journey back to your essence.

The path to self-discovery is rarely quick or easy. Yet, with small, consistent changes, you can transform your reality.

My journey to self-understanding was filled with challenges, the greatest of which was myself. Like many, I carried past traumas and stories into adulthood, trapping me in a victimhood mentality. I built protective barriers to feel safe and meet my needs, but this left me unhappy and disconnected from my true self. I lost sight of who I was while doing what I thought I should do, leading to confusion about my identity.

Is my life now a constant state of happiness, grounding, and joy? Sometimes, yes. Other times, no.

Was there a single, magical solution that changed everything? No.

Transformation came through years of learning, experimenting, and sometimes failing. I combined my nursing science background with the wisdom of breathwork, self-exploration, energy healing, and other practices. This holistic approach has helped me reconnect with my true self.

You have the power to create your own reality. Your journey might be difficult, but every small, consistent steps bring you closer to discovering who you truly are.

Breath. The foundation of my practice.

We all need breath to live, yet most of us do it unconsciously. When we breathe without awareness, our breath often becomes shallow, rapid, irregular, and less effective. It becomes automatic and without purpose.

We often focus on food and exercise when we want to make changes in our lives. People carefully plan meals, monitor what they eat, and dedicate time to working out, knowing these are important for staying healthy. But even with the best nutrition and exercise routines, many still find themselves falling back into old habits and patterns. Why? Because these efforts, though vital, only address the surface. Unless we become aware of the deeper, underlying causes driving our behavior, true change is difficult to sustain.

This is where breathwork plays a crucial role. By bringing awareness to our breath, we become present in the moments where we struggle most. Breathwork allows us to pause, reflect, and create space for deeper awareness of our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. With each conscious breath, we develop the ability to notice our triggers, shift our responses, and break free from the habits that no longer serve us. Breath becomes the bridge to lasting transformation, offering a profound tool for self-awareness and growth.

Spider medicine

You may be wondering why there are spider webs all over my website. I considered including actual spiders, but many people (myself included at one time) are terrified of them. Spiders have followed me throughout my entire life! I’ve had experiences like sitting in a restaurant, and suddenly one crawls down my arm, or opening my car door to find a spider sitting in the center of a web it spun overnight. These encounters have happened in the most unexpected places, and for the longest time, I was truly afraid of them.

However, as I’ve walked my path of healing, my relationship with spiders has transformed. I’ve come to realize that the spider is my shadow animal, a deep and integral part of who I am. It connects to my dharma as a seeker of truth. Spider medicine is all about discovering your own truth. We all grow up with the belief systems passed down from our parents and society, shaping us into what we think we "should" do. Over time, we build a life around these ideas, often losing sight of what truly resonates with us.

The gift of spider medicine is the ability to look within and begin discerning what is authentically yours—what you truly believe, what you genuinely desire—and start letting go of everything that isn’t aligned with your authentic self. It's an invitation to weave your own web of truth.
